Toxic Relationships - Understand Why You Stay and Why It’s So Hard to Move On
24,990 SEK/ session
About this session
Leaving a toxic relationship is not always the same as being free from it. And sometimes you haven't left yet – you just know that something doesn't feel right.
Perhaps you have already read a lot about narcissism and toxic relationships. You recognize behaviors and start to understand what is happening. Yet, you might still stay, go back, or continue to hope. Or you may have left, but notice that the relationship still affects you.
It’s easy to focus much on the other person – why they do what they do, if they can change, and what really happens in the relationship. But there’s another important part to understand: What makes me stay, even though I know what I know?
Over the course of 12 weeks, we will look at the relationship and what you have experienced, but also at your own codependency patterns and what may lie behind them – attachment, survival strategies, trauma bonding, cognitive dissonance, self-doubt, boundaries, and self-esteem.
Because there is a difference between understanding what happens in a toxic relationship and understanding why you yourself remain in it.
The program includes 12 individual sessions of 60 minutes each, video lessons, workbooks, and reflection exercises over three months. The conversations and materials will accompany you throughout the program, so you can continue to explore and understand what we work on even between our sessions.
The work is individualized and based on you, your story, and what becomes important along the way.
